What to Expect
If you are new to our church or new to church in general, we know that visiting a church can be stressful. We want you to feel at home, and welcome here at Londonderry Christian Church. Here’s what you can expect to see at LCC.
People will be dressed in a wide range of clothes ranging from shirts and ties to T-shirts and shorts. We don’t care what you wear, we just want you here.
Our service will be about an hour in length, starting at 10am.
The service will have one consistent message, or theme, that ties together all the individual parts of our service.
We will worship God together through music. We have a full, modern band that will lead us in a time of corporate worship.
You will hear someone, most likely one of our pastors, speak God’s truth from the Bible. We believe that this time of teaching and instruction is important to making disciples, and growing together.
We will say a Bible verse together. While this verse changes with each series, it is our theme verse for that series of sermons.
We will take communion together. We believe communion is an essential part of our service. Each week we set aside time to remember Christ’s sacrifice for us.
We will pray. We cannot overlook the importance of prayer in our services. Prayer is one way we can communicate with God, and one way that God communicates back to us.
If you have an infant, our nursery is staffed. If you prefer to keep your baby with you in the service, that’s great! We know kids make noise, but that doesn’t bother us.
If you have children from grades Pre-K – 5, we have an awesome program called “Real Kidz” that is available. Your kids are more than welcome to attend, but if you would like to sit together as a family than kids are welcome in the main service as well. Visit our Welcome Center to help get your children checked into the right class.
